Companion Animal Appointments
Upon arriving for your pet’s appointment at Williams Veterinary Wellness, you will be greeted by one of our friendly Customer Service Representatives who will get you checked in for your appointment. You may be asked to fill out paperwork or present any online forms that you brought with you so that we can have your most up-to-date contact and pet information.
After checking in, please feel free to view our bulletin board, peruse items for sale or help yourself to a bottle of water. One of our skilled Veterinary Technicians will then meet you in the lobby, get your pet’s weight and escort you into an exam room. Once in an exam room, your pet’s Technician will take vital signs, ask questions regarding your pet’s health history and make note of the concerns that you would like the Doctor to address during today’s visit. Please remember to inform your Technician whether your pet is taking any medications or supplements and anything else you think is important for our medical team to know about your pet.
The Technician will present all of this information to the Doctor and the Doctor will then meet you in the exam room to address all of your concerns. The Doctor will perform a comprehensive physical examination of your pet and answer any questions you may have regarding nutrition, exercise, behavior and training and discuss preventative medicine measures to keep your pet healthy as his or her needs change with age. Please note that we use notetaking software to assist us in generating medical records to enable us to provide our undivided attention and provide better care to your pets.
